With $500 raised through The Liger, and another $500 donated from a contributor, the Buwanga Way to Health project in Eastern Uganda now has a mobile sprinkler system.
It’s changed what's possible on the land. Agricultural production is up roughly 50%, the team can now grow vegetables in areas that previously couldn't sustain them, and their coffee seedling nursery has a reliable water supply even through the hot season.
The system runs off a deep borehole over 70 meters down, so drought isn't the constraint it used to be.
